About Medieval Blacksmith

A medieval blacksmith with an open-front forge area on one side and an enclosed workshop on the other. You can see the furnaces and workstation through the open wall, with hay bales stored underneath. Twin brick chimneys run up through the stone brick roof, and the whole thing is built mostly from cobblestone and andesite with spruce wood detailing. Flowers and a path out front keep it from looking too industrial. A solid addition to any medieval village, or use it as a functional smelting station in survival with some furnaces and blast furnaces inside.

Medieval Blacksmith is a medium-sized Minecraft build, 14 by 24 blocks across and 10 blocks tall. It uses 883 blocks of 73 different kinds, placed over 254 steps in the 3D guide. The main blocks are 67 deepslate tile stairs, 48 spruce trapdoor, 41 stone, 40 andesite and 35 spruce planks. It is rated medium to build and takes about 1h - 1.5h following the guide.

Common questions

Do I need to be good at building to make Medieval Blacksmith?
Not really - Medieval Blacksmith is rated medium: a few fiddly parts, but nothing the guide doesn't walk you through. The 3D guide shows every block in place before you put it there, over 254 steps, so following it is a matter of copying what is on screen. If you can place a block, you can build this.
How long does Medieval Blacksmith take to build?
About 1h - 1.5h following the guide: it is 883 blocks, placed in 254 steps. That estimate assumes every material is already collected and in a chest nearby; it does not include gathering them, which is usually the slowest part. Pasting the schematic in instead takes seconds.
What blocks do I need for Medieval Blacksmith?
Mostly 67 deepslate tile stairs, 48 spruce trapdoor, 41 stone, 40 andesite and 35 spruce planks, plus 68 other kinds of block. The material list counts every one and ticks them off as you collect.
How big is Medieval Blacksmith?
14 by 24 blocks across and 10 tall - a medium-sized build. Leave a block or two around it on your plot so there is room for paths and the edges.
Can I download Medieval Blacksmith as a schematic?
Yes. Every build comes with a .schem file you can paste with WorldEdit or project block by block with Litematica, plus ready-made world downloads. Downloads for this build need a VIP membership.
Does this work on Bedrock, or only Java?
Both. World downloads are provided for Java and for Bedrock, so it works on PC and mobile (on a console, upload the world to a Realm and load it from there). The 3D guide itself runs in the browser and needs no mods at all.
Do I need any mods to follow the guide?
No mods, no launcher, nothing to install. The guide is a web page. Mods only come into it if you choose to paste the build in with WorldEdit or Litematica instead of placing it yourself.
