Why I built GorilloBuild
Not every build makes it into a full YouTube tutorial. Some only appear in Shorts, while others are part of larger village episodes where they're on screen for a few seconds. GorilloBuild lets you follow every build, step by step, no matter where it was first shown.
It began with the videos
I'm Gorillo. Since I started posting in 2021, I've been designing Minecraft builds, from cosy houses to full villages, and showing how they come together. None of that would mean much without the people watching, and that's now a community of more than 5 million across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and more.
The more I built, the more one thing kept happening in the comments.
The same question, over and over
Under almost every build, the comments said a version of the same thing:
Real comments, names hidden for privacy.
Why YouTube couldn't answer them
I'm known for long-form build tutorials, but I can't make one for every build. My short-form builds never got full tutorials, and lately I've been doing village episodes where I put up several builds in a single one-minute video. Those are the ones people ask about most, and I can't film a step-by-step for all of them. It would be all I ever did.
And the workarounds each left someone out. Schematics only work on Java, with mods like Litematica or WorldEdit. Bedrock PC and Pocket Edition always had the world downloads, so you could load a finished build and walk around it, but there were never schematics, so no simple way to build it yourself. And on console you couldn't load them at all. However you played, most people were stuck just watching.
So I built GorilloBuild
This site is my answer to those comments. Every build gets an interactive 3D guide you can follow right in your browser. No mods, no setup, nothing to install, and it works the same on Java, Bedrock or console, phone, tablet or PC.
There's a material checklist so you know exactly what to gather, plus the downloads you'd expect: schematics for Java, and world files for Bedrock PC and Pocket Edition, same as always. The difference now is the guide, so you can build any of it yourself no matter how you play, even the builds that never got a schematic or a full tutorial. If you've ever left one of those comments, this was built for you.
