Programme terms

Last updated: 2 November 2026

The GorilloBuild affiliate programme is run by Gorillo Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 17373133 ("we", "us"). By applying you agree to these terms.

Who can join

You must be 18 or over and have a GorilloBuild account. We review every application and may accept or decline it at our discretion.

What you earn

You earn 25% of what we receive from each membership payment made by people you bring, for their first 12 months from their first payment. "What we receive" is the payment after VAT and other sales taxes and our payment provider's fees, so it is a share of the money that actually reaches us.
Someone counts as yours when they visit through your link and then make an account, or sign in to an account that has never paid for a membership, within 30 days on the same device and browser. If they used another affiliate's link more recently, the latest link counts. An account a friend invited with an invite link doesn't count.
Gift purchases, payments from accounts that had already paid before, and your own account don't earn commission.

Refunds and holds

Each commission is held for 30 days before it can be paid, because payments can be refunded. A payment that is refunded in full or charged back earns nothing, and if that happens after we've paid you for it, the amount comes off your next payout.

Payouts

We pay by PayPal, in pounds sterling, at the start of each month, once your commission ready to be paid reaches £25. Below that, it rolls over to the next month. Keep your PayPal email up to date on your account page.
You are responsible for any tax on what you earn. Commissions are payments for promotion, not wages, and don't make you our employee, agent or partner.

How to promote

Always label it. Say clearly that your link is an affiliate link or an ad (for example "#ad" or "affiliate link" next to it), so your viewers know you earn from it. This matters even more if your audience includes children.
Be honest. Don't promise things GorilloBuild doesn't offer, don't make up discounts or free offers, and don't pretend to be us.
No spam, no paid search ads on "GorilloBuild" or similar words, and no ads that link straight to us without your own content.
Don't buy through your own link, make accounts to earn commission, or encourage people to sign up and cancel. Don't share or sell our paid files, schematics or guides.

Ending and changes

You can leave at any time by emailing us. We can pause or end your place in the programme at any time. Commission you've fairly earned up to then is still paid once it passes its hold, but anything earned by breaking these terms isn't.
We may change the rate or these terms. We'll tell affiliates by email before a change takes effect, and it won't affect commission already earned.

Your data

We keep your application, your link's statistics and your PayPal email to run the programme and pay you, as set out in our Privacy Policy. People who join through your link are counted, never named to you.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Questions? Email contact@gorillobuild.com.
