About Italian Restaurant & Gelateria

A colourful restaurant and gelateria from my Italian village, combining a cosy restaurant with a small gelato shop next door. With a warm exterior, traditional details, and plenty of character, it fits perfectly along a busy village street or near the main square. Perfect for adding more variety to an Italian or Mediterranean village, with a building that feels both practical and full of life.

Italian Restaurant & Gelateria is a medium-sized Minecraft build, 15 by 19 blocks across and 15 blocks tall. It uses 1,628 blocks of 120 different kinds, placed over 593 steps in the 3D guide. The main blocks are 151 smooth sandstone, 130 spruce planks, 65 andesite, 62 brick slab and 51 granite slab. It is rated medium to build and takes about 1.5h - 2.5h following the guide.

Common questions

Do I need to be good at building to make Italian Restaurant & Gelateria?
Not really - Italian Restaurant & Gelateria is rated medium: a few fiddly parts, but nothing the guide doesn't walk you through. The 3D guide shows every block in place before you put it there, over 593 steps, so following it is a matter of copying what is on screen. If you can place a block, you can build this.
How long does Italian Restaurant & Gelateria take to build?
About 1.5h - 2.5h following the guide: it is 1,628 blocks, placed in 593 steps. That estimate assumes every material is already collected and in a chest nearby; it does not include gathering them, which is usually the slowest part. Pasting the schematic in instead takes seconds.
What blocks do I need for Italian Restaurant & Gelateria?
Mostly 151 smooth sandstone, 130 spruce planks, 65 andesite, 62 brick slab and 51 granite slab, plus 115 other kinds of block. The material list counts every one and ticks them off as you collect.
How big is Italian Restaurant & Gelateria?
15 by 19 blocks across and 15 tall - a medium-sized build. Leave a block or two around it on your plot so there is room for paths and the edges.
Can I download Italian Restaurant & Gelateria as a schematic?
Yes. Every build comes with a .schem file you can paste with WorldEdit or project block by block with Litematica, plus ready-made world downloads. Downloads for this build need a VIP membership.
Does this work on Bedrock, or only Java?
Both. World downloads are provided for Java and for Bedrock, so it works on PC and mobile (on a console, upload the world to a Realm and load it from there). The 3D guide itself runs in the browser and needs no mods at all.
Do I need any mods to follow the guide?
No mods, no launcher, nothing to install. The guide is a web page. Mods only come into it if you choose to paste the build in with WorldEdit or Litematica instead of placing it yourself.
